Greetings from the sea! It’s a cold, chilly, windy, brrrrr kind of day here on the coast. Perhaps we will have a white Christmas, but no, thats just the frost building up on the sidewalk. We took Baby Sam to the doctor, he has a bone stuck in his intestines, great, surgery! Kyla is still coughing way and I am fighting a cold again. Will Spring every great here? I’m looking forward to seeing all you girls and getting some projects completed!

Happy and Jolly holidays to you and yours! We are busy getting healthy; the flu, cold, aches and pains hit our household like a freight train, driving Kyla, Steve and I to our beds for the past month. Just when I thought we were all getting well and going to live after all, along came another bug to put Kyla back in bed! With Christmas just around the corner, 5-days to be exact, I’m getting a bit panicky in my need to fulfill the Walton’s idea of a decent Christmas experience. Looks like I will be out of luck for the singing around Steve’s electric guitar, Starbucks latte in hand with the smell of a proper Holiday dinner, (thanks to Taco Bell) again this year. Dang, just when life was looking up. We do have our tree up. ALL 14 feet of it! Decked out in tradtional red and gold balls it looks stunning. I’ve put all the smaller trees in my “condo”, the 16 mini trees are everywhere and taking up every spot on the floor, dressers and on top of the T.V. and are adorned with all the bells and whistles that Kyla forbid to be put in the living room. I’ve got every color of pink, lime green and crystal ball dangling from every conceivable spot. Dolly Parton would be proud of me!
Thank you everyone who sent us a Christmas card this year. I am constantly amazed at the talent of our peeps and we appreciate you sharing your lives with us. Happy Holidays to you and your’s. Take loads of pictures for the memories, hug your children, then hug them again. Be at peace and many blessings to all! Maggie
